A Paid clinical trial is a form of research study that is formulated to seek and provide answers to specific health questions.  The research
is formulated by conducting a trial on the volunteers, who are paid a mutually agreed amount.

Various authorities such as FDA protect the rights, health and well being ofparticipating volunteers by formulation of certain regulations and guidelines in the field of clinical research. This is aimed to protect them from unreasonable risks and such trials after conforming to the physical standards.

What is the amount paid?

There is no fixed amount which is paid to volunteers.  The amount paid is dependent upon the type of clinical trial and severity of trial.
It is believed that on a usual basis, the amount paid to volunteers undergoing paid clinic trials is approximately $100-300 per day in the United States.
